American Formulary has developed an innovative line of herbal dietary supplements under the Allovedic Remedies® brand.

"Allovedic" is a newly proposed term to describe botanical and nutritional ingredients, whose use dates back to ancient medical traditions, which have utilized modern medical and scientific research and production technologies to justify their indications for use and to strengthen and standardize their potency. The two words from which the term "Allovedic" was formed are Allopathic and Ayurvedic. Allovedic Remedies® is a new class of dietary supplements for managing health.

There are eleven initial formulations, all with herbal extracts for guaranteed potency that are backed by current scientific and nutritional research. Each formula carries a name indicating the health concern it is formulated to address, and a structure/function claim to help consumers make appropriate selections.
