What's in Cardio-Chelate?

Cardio-Chelate contains the key ingredient EDTA.

Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane (MSM) and N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) are two sulfur-donating compounds that increase cellular glutathione concentrations, which is important for increased antioxidant needs during chelation.

Along with Vitamin C, these compounds work together to provide optimum nutritional support.

EDTA (EthyleneDiamine-Tetra-acetic Acid) has been used as a stabilizer (maintains food color and flavor) in the food industry for several years. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) even approved its use 50 years ago for treatment of lead, mercury, aluminum and cadmium toxicity. This is due to its ability to bind to, or "normalize" metallic element distribution within the body.

This action within the body warrants its use in removing plaque, inhibit clotting and improve calcium and cholesterol metabolism.

Chelation Therapy

This combination of nutrients is designed as an oral alternative to an intravenous treatment known as chelation therapy. Chelation utilizes a man-made amino acid called ethylene-diamine-tetraacetic-acid (EDTA), developed during the late 1940’s, to remove lead and other dangerous toxic metals from the body (1). The word chelation (key-LAY-shun) is derived from the Greek word "chele" meaning claw. Like a claw, EDTA binds tightly to free-floating metal ions in the blood stream and then forms a chemical bond that facilitates the removal of these complexes before they interfere with normal metabolism or enter into an undesirable chemical reaction.

Suggested Use:
Maintenance Phase: Take 1 capsule 3 times daily on an empty stomach.
Intense Phase: Take 3 capsules 2 times daily on an empty stomach.
