Another type of blood sugar ailment, beside Hypoglycemia, is called Diabetes Mellitus or High Blood Sugar. This condition exists when a person’s blood has an abnormally high level of glucose (sugar). This is caused by insufficient amounts of insulin being produced by the pancreas gland. The utilization of glucose is regulated by insulin. Consequently, when the pancreas gland produces too little insulin, the body produces too much blood sugar resulting in symptoms of abnormal thirst or hunger, weakness, fatigue and frequent urination.
