Essential Organics was founded in 1973 to provide high quality all natural nutritional products and was the first company to embrace the concept of Food Based Nutrition.

The formulas have been constantly updated and improved as new studies and research proved the value of food companies to our general health.

The number one product of Essential Organics is BlueFood. In 1997 at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging by Dr. Ronald L. Prior, blueberries were ranked number one in antioxident activity compared with 40 other commercially available fruits and vegetables.

The use of Food, including Wild Blueberries, and extracted whole herbs is a centerpiece of Essential Organic's product line. They know for example, that ascorbic acid functions better when taken with vitamin c rich foods and calcium when taken with calcium rich food. This philosophy of combining phytonutrient rich, complementary whole food nutrients is the basis for their complete line of formulas.
